2007 swimwear is already hitting the stores for this upcoming season. When it comes to 2007 swimwear, you are sure to see lots of bold colors and patterns this year – not bold and skimpy cuts.

2007 swimwear is all about the fabrics this year, not the lack thereof. Fashion designers have focused their time on making bikinis and other bathing suits with beautiful and bold graphic designs and patterns and embroidery. Therefore, the more suit you have on, the better you can show off these great designs.

In other words, thongs and g-strings are out this year. Yes, you may have nice butt cheeks, but this year people want to see them covered with awesome fabrics. Lowrise bikini bottoms are all the rage in the styles of 2007 swimwear.

On top, you will be seeing many more tankini tops than ever before as well as bandeau tops. Showing off more of the great fabrics of 2007 swimwear does not necessarily mean that you will only be seeing one-piece swimsuits (although there are some cute ones), bikinis will always be popular. But you will be seeing more monokinis. Monokinis are a compromise between bikinis and one-piece suits. Monokinis are like a bikini that has been attached by extra pieces of fabric or a one-piece swimming suit with large scoops taken out of the sides.

Those are the styles and cuts that you will be seeing in 2007 swimwear, but let us talk more about the bold prints and graphics. Rather than having a bikinis with a pattern of tiny roses or pinstripes, you will see bikinis with maybe just one or two large and bold flowers or large and wide stripes. The colors for this season of 2007 swimwear have moved from pastels to bright colors like hot pink and tangerine orange. The beaches will be electric with all of these bold and beautiful patterns.
