Beach accessories

For the perfect day at the beach, you likely want to have some great beach accessories. Beach accessories are not like everyday accessories. Everyday accessories may include a bracelet, some earrings, a belt, hat, sunglasses, and a purse – anything to make you look even better. Beach accessories, on the other hand, are not just to improve your “look,” they are to improve your time at the beach. Oh, and by the way, when you are going to the beach, you can definitely leave those other everyday accessories at home – a swimsuit says it all.

Here is a condensed list of the best beach accessories.

· Sunblock. Sunblock, not tanning oil, is the number one most important beach accessory. You should be using a sunblock that blocks both UV and UB rays. You should also be using a sunblock that is at least spf 15, and the higher this number is, the better. And remember to reapply your sunblock throughout the day, especially after getting out of the water.
· An umbrella or a tent. When it comes to beach accessories, an umbrella is definitely a good one. With an umbrella, you can mark out your territory. Also, if you leave your spot for a moment to got out into the water for a bit, it is much easier to find your spot again if you have an umbrella marking it. And remember why you are bringing sunblock? Well, an umbrella also does a good job of blocking the rays. An umbrella is also great for shading the book you are reading or the drinks and snacks you brought.
· Drinks and snacks. For some people, drinks and snacks may be the number one most important beach accessory. Nothing is more fun than sitting in the sun and eating your favorite foods. It is also good to have foods along so that you can get reenergized – laying on the beach in the sun can drain you of energy. Also, you can get very dehydrated being out in the sun all day. It is very important to have water and other refreshing drinks.
· Frisbee or other beach toys. Going to the beach is not all about laying out and swimming, it is also about having fun. A Frisbee or a football are great toys for the beach. So is a volleyball net and a volleyball – all of these toys are also great if you want to meet other people on the beach. You can ask them to join you. If you have kids, or even if you are a kid at heart, you should bring a bucket and a shovel – it is fun to build sandcastles, but it is even more fun to bury in the sand that cutie you saw on the beach.
· Friends. Anything is more fun if you have friends along to enjoy it with you.
· A towel or a beach mat. A towel may seem like an obvious beach accessory, but you will be pretty unhappy if you forget it. A towel is more than just a device to dry you off when you get out of the water. A towel or a beachmat or a blanket of some time is also necessary unless you want to lay directly in the sand and spend the next few weeks getting sand out of areas you did not even know existed.
