How To Buy Sexy Sandals

Summer is here and in full swing! How do you prepare for those pool or beach parties, going out on the town or just lounging in the backyard? Of course, you start with a great summer wardrobe! Summertime is an easy time to get sexy. We want to shake off the winter blues, kick off our heavy shoes and literally lighten up!

One of the first things we think of is getting a pair sexy sandals for all our outdoor, lets have a good time summer activities. How do you pick the best summer sandals and more importantly how do you wear them?

Let’s demystify the process!

Start with a pedicure!! There’s nothing like soaking your feet in warm soapy water to get you relaxed and in the right mood for summer fun! You can either visit a professional or do one yourself! It’s easy!!

1- Soak feet in warm, soapy water for about 15 minutes.
2- Dry with clean, dry towel/ apply lotion
3- Clip nails that are too long or uneven/smooth with emery board.
4- Gently push back cuticles.
5- Moisten a cotton ball and rub over nail to remove oil and residue.
6- Apply favorite nail polish!
7- Allow 15 minutes to dry.

With a pretty pair of feet you’re ready to go shoe shopping! This summer there are lots of choices for sexy sandals.

Grecian is going to be a huge look this year, and not just in sandals. The Grecian look is usually with metallic accents, and flat sandals with string ties. When shopping for Grecian inspired sandals, look for leather (or leatherette) string ties, they tend to add a bit of authenticity to the look. Style Note: These look awesome paired with tiered skirts.

Another big look this summer and an extra sexy on it the wedge sandal. These come in various fabrics and colors! Show your bohemian side when you wear a mid-calf flowing skirt and a linen top matched with wedges that have rope or cork on the heel.

When shopping for sandals get a pair that feels good. If you feel good you’ll look more confident and that’s always sexy!

Whatever your choice for sandals pretty, well-taken care of feet will make any sandal sexy. Don’t believe me? Just wear a pair of flip flops to the pool and watch heads that we starring at the ground turn!

Tip: Don’t go to the beach with pealing off nail polish, even if you’re in a grungy mood, you’ll be glad you took a couple of minutes to touch up that polish!
