There
are men’s flip flops made in all different styles.
· First, you have got your plain old flip flops, you know, the
classic style that has been around forever, the kind you would wear
to the pool, or maybe to play with or walk your dog in the park. But
mostly these men’s flip flops are designed for hanging around
the house or with friends—not for large amounts of walking—the
soles will wear down easily with too much outdoor use. These men’s
flip flops rarely have much traction on them. They are the men’s
flip flops with the thin rubbery soles and thin wedge straps that are
fairly cheaply made.
· For the more outdoorsy types, for example, those who like
to hike, take long walks or even run for a little while wearing their
men’s flip flops, there are men’s flip flops made with thicker,
rubber soles of a stronger material and traction on the bottoms. These
men’s flip flops are also made with thicker wedge straps—most
often in rubber, but sometimes in leather, too. Such men’s flip
flops are perfect for a short hike, a quick walk to the store—or
just during those summer hours when you are hanging out with your friends,
sitting around and need to let your feet breathe for the day. They are
made in many designs, though many of them have black soles, the thick
wedge straps on them are stylish and decorated with different, sporty
designs. They do come in a wider variety of colors, however, if you
check out wider selections. They come in whites, oranges, browns, etc.
Some of them even have a raised heel for more comfort and durability.
· Then there are my favorites, for those days you just want
to relax. They are made with very thick layers of a soft rubber material,
mush softer than the others I have described. I had seen such men’s
flip flops before, but never so thick and soft as the ones I have seen
this season. Buy a pair of these men’s flip flops and even if
you are the type of person who prefers to go barefoot around the house,
you will love to wear them indoors in your own home
· A few of my friends have bought pairs of these soft, rubbery
men’s flip flops and they love them just as much as I do. My friend
Joe will go for a walk, or stand outside on the porch and he will say
“ahhhh” every time he slides them on.
Unfortunately, Joe has a cat that decided she loved his new men’s
flip flops, too. When she chewed them up all around the edges—he
still wore them for about a week and then he got another pair. The second
pair he keeps on the top shelf of his closet so she will not abuse his
favorite men’s flip flops again.
· Then there are the most hard-core of the men’s flip
flops available. These have double straps that do not wedge but adjust
across the front of the foot, and though there are no straps to adjust
across the heel, they are suited for more aggressive outdoor activities.
These men’s flip flops are also thicker in the soles and have
a lot of good traction on them.
