General swimwear accessories General swimwear accessories are the sorts of swimwear accessories that you may need while out laying on the beach or at the pool. These swimwear accessories include a cover-up or a sarong – something that you can wear with your swimsuit to and from the beach or pool. You should also have a great pair of sunglasses – ones that will really protect your eyes and will also make you look ultra stylish. It is a good idea to shop for a pair of polarized sunglasses. Polarized sunglasses are a great swimwear accessory – they take the glare off of the water as you look out over it. Other general swimwear accessories include hats to keep the sun and your hair off of your face and elastics to keep your hair out of the way. Water aerobic swimwear accessories Water aerobics is a great way to get exercise without putting a lot of strain on your joints and muscles. There are some swimwear accessories that go along with water aerobics, though. In fact, there are very specialized swimwear accessories for water aerobics. They include ankle and wrist weights, aqua mats, active belts (to promote correct posture and to support the lower back), exercise balls, water shoes, aqua steps, and barbells. All of these swimwear accessories are, of course, made specifically for water aerobics – you are not going to be taking a regular pair of barbells into the water with you. Many of these swimwear accessories are actually covered in neoprene fabric that resists chlorine and is comfortable for the wearer. Swimwear accessories for swimmers The main swimwear accessories for swimmers are caps and goggles. Even men may want to consider wearing a swim cap – they keep your hair out of your face and also protect your hair from the chlorine. There are both latex and silicone caps and a whole variety of goggles. Be sure when you are buying goggles that they fit your eyes properly. You should be able to hold up one of the goggle “cups” to your eye and it should suction and stay there without you touching it. Other swimwear accessories for swimmers include flippers, pull-boys (to put between your legs so that you are only pulling with your arms and not kicking), and kickboards. A waterproof watch that can record times and laps is also a good idea, as is a waterproof radio with headphones. Swimwear accessories for surfers Surfers need slightly different swimwear accessories. If they are in cold water, they need wetsuits or drysuits to stay warm. Otherwise, they at least need a rashguard. A rashguard is a tight-fitting shirt of sorts that protects the surfer’s chest from the wax on the surfboard as they paddle out to sea. This week's top selling items:Veiw
