First
you may wonder what a sarong is. A sarong is a loose garment made of
a long strip of cloth wrapped around the body that is worn as a skirt
or dress. Sarongs are becoming more and more popular around the world
with both women and men! They are easy to pack, wear well, and are very
sexy and attractive!
Tying a sarong is not difficult it takes some time and patience and
you can wear it however you like!
There are several ways to wear a sarong. Here we will model the wrap
skirt popular at beaches especially!
1-Put on your two-piece swimsuit.
2-Wrap sarong evenly around your waist, pulling the ends forward. If
you have a fringed sarong, let the unfringed end be the one you pull
around your waist.
3-Tuck one end into your bathing suit bottom at the opposite hip. Secure
with a pin if the elastic of your suit or string of your bikini is not
enough to hold fabric.
4-Bring free end to the other hip, smoothing the fabric flat across
your belly. Hold the fabric with one hand and begin to fold a few inches
past your belly button.
5-Make three pleats starting at four inches in length and decreasing
to two inches.
6-Fold pleated end into waistband.
Getting into shape for summer fashions
Keep in mind, we don’t live to eat --- we eat to live! What you
eat should be energy for your body.
When you’re energized by the right foods you’ll be more
likely to hit the gym after work!
When you’re trying to loose weight quantity is more important
than speed. So, in the long run walking for an hour in the park or on
a tread mill will burn more calories and keep up your stamina better
than running for 20 or 30 minutes.
Walking is a great stress relieving activity that you will be more
likely to incorporate into a regular routine of keeping healthy for
life, not just a few weeks! And you can do it everyday. If you live
close enough consider walking to work --- that half hour each way will
make a big difference in a weeks time!
To tone your body, start palates and/or yoga. Also, lifting weights
a couple of times a week will help tone parts you really want to look
great in that bikini, i.e. arms, inner thighs and even your stomach.
Just don’t over do it, you want to look tones yet feminine!
Regardless of how you look in 2 weeks, the most important thing is
that you’re on the right track for a healthy lifestyle. Don’t
let trends determine how you feel about yourself.
