Be it the beach, the pool or the concrete driveway, many students will
find a way to spend time in the sun this spring break.
Thus, the most important piece of your wardrobe this spring break and
summer will be your bathing suit — so choose wisely.
There are many new swimsuit styles that are fashionable and functional
as well as suits that should be worn and admired but never wetted.
“Bathing suits can go two ways,” said Cecily Rosenberg,
fashion guru and joint owner of Veronica’s Attic, an Atlanta clothing
store. “If you are on a tight budget and cannot afford to wear
a suit for show, then make sure you buy a practical and useable suit.”
Rosenberg also said there are times to ditch practicality and just
flaunt what you’ve got.
“For those with a good body and a flexible budget, buying impractical
yet beautiful designer bathing suits is an additional choice —
especially if you are going to a hot spot like Miami or Cabo San Lucas,”
she said.
For cover-ups, choose long and flowing skirts, tunic tops or your dad’s
white oxford. Match with big sun glasses and, of course, sunscreen.
Whether you choose a bathing suit you can wear time and time again
or one you will wear once, remember to rock the bathing suit you choose
with confidence this spring. Healthy self-assurance makes any look sexier
and having a healthy tan doesn’t hurt either.
