Traveling
with Gerhard since 1974
Every detail of your trip is planned to provide a stimulating hassle
free vacation. Plan to leave all worries behind, just bring your sense
of adventure.
The finest hotels: I recognize the importance of having a comfortable
setting to return to at the end of an exciting day. The hotels on my
tours are always chosen for their central location, ambiance, service
and value. We will always be within short walking distance of the shops,
museums and other local attractions. Many of the hotels I select are
amongst the best in Europe. The Goldener Hirsch, our hotel in Salzburg,
was recently rated by readers of Conde Nast Travel Magazine as one of
the top 50 hotels in the world. Built in the 15th century, it is centrally
located on the famous Getreidegasse, the same street where Mozart was
born. The rooms are furnished with antiques to capture the romantic
charm of old Austria.
European dining at its best: Meals are an important part of the travel
experience. Culinary skills are as much a reflection of a nation's culture
as the art and history. Dinners are assured to be fresh and savory,
served in a comfortable setting that allows you to share the day's events
with your fellow travelers. Breakfast each morning is served buffet
style with a variety of fresh rolls and breads, yogurts, cereals, meats,
cheeses, fruit and eggs. Also included is orange juice and a choice
of freshly brewed coffee or tea.
Small groups: A smaller group allows everyone to meet new friends
and to receive personal attention from the tour escort. It also allows
for more comfort in our large motorcoach and better service in hotels
and restaurants. You will be traveling with people who are enjoyable
companions and who share common interests.
Price guarantee: Tour prices are guaranteed and will not increase
due to fluctuations in the foreign currency market. You can reserve
the tour, knowing exactly what you will be paying and what is included.
Since 1974: This will be my 32nd season of offering escorted tours.
A reputation for value and quality has brought continuous praise from
satisfied repeat travelers some of who have been to Europe with me as
often as eighteen times.
